With Your Help #ChildHunger Ends Here

By Kenda -

What if I told you more than 1 in 5 children don’t know where their next meal is coming from? What if I told you that’s nearly 16 million children – enough to fill 8,000 playgrounds? Now, what if I told you they all live in the United States…

When most people think of child hunger, an image comes to mind of the homeless and destitute families. We picture the small children seen standing on street corners while their parents hold up a sign and wait for a miracle. Unfortunately, hunger reaches even into the apartments and homes of neighborhoods everywhere.  Children who experience even occasional hunger can suffer serious and even long term effects on their health and even their ability to learn.

ConAgra Foods has partnered with P&G to send out a call to the people of America who want to make a difference in this epidemic. With your help, up to 7 million meals can be provided to children in need across the nation through the CHILD HUNGER ENDS HERE® 2014 campaign.
