Since August I’ve been eagerly awaiting the premiere of Disneynature’s BEARS. I was given the awesome opportunity to preview it during a red carpet event at the Disney Studios and I may have cried. A little bit. Ok, I needed a tissue. I can’t help it. I’m a sucker for warm, furry family love.
This epic documentary showcases a year in the life of a bear family and their young cubs learning life’s most important lessons. Set in the amazing Alaskan territory, the journey begins with winter coming to an end and the bears emerging from hibernation.

The world outside is exciting—but dangerous. As winter makes way for spring, and spring for summer, the bears must work hard to find food like salmon while watching out for rival male bears and other predators like the wolves. This delightfully narrated film will take your breath away with aerial views of the Alaskan wilderness and a story of family that will sneak into your heart and last long after the credits have stopped rolling.
Directed by Alastair Fothergill (“Earth,” “African Cats” and “Chimpanzee”) and Keith Scholey (“African Cats”), and narrated by John C. Reilly, “Bears” arrives in theaters April 18, 2014, to celebrate Earth Day.

I’ve always been fascinated with bears. I really want to see this film!
There is something so beautiful and majestic about bears. I can’t wait to see this movie, I have loved all of the Disneynature movies so far.
Seeing all the nastiness in the news lately against bears make me so frustrated! I see this and I am just really sad about these beautiful creatures.
I seen a screening of this last month and LOVED it. I want to take the kids this week to see it.
The girls are dying to see this. They saw the one that came out last year and loved it.
