I can remember being little and begging my parents to let me stay up to watch my favorite night time show: Fraggle Rock. I loved dancing around the living room to the intro song (Down in Fraggle Rock!) and I wanted crazy pigtails just like Red. But, my absolute favorite part of the show was when I got to see the Doozers. Remember those guys? They were tiny little dudes (and dudettes? I’m not sure) who loved to work, work, work. They were constantly building structures out of sticks made from radish dust. Then the Fraggles would eat what they built! Is this ringing a bell?
If you were a Fraggle fan, be prepared to share an awesome flashback with your kids, because Doozers have their own, animated show now!
The animated preschool series DOOZERS focuses on four Doozers kids, a team of best friends who live in Doozer Creek, a fantastical, modern, and eco-friendly community. Dubbed “the Pod Squad,” Spike, Molly Bolt, Flex, and Daisy Wheel bounce from one fabulous kid adventure to the next, engaging in exciting projects and having a blast playing together.
The Pod Squad loves to DESIGN, CREATE, and INNOVATE. These Doozers are DOERS – they put their ideas into action! If that sounds like work, think again! What kid wouldn’t want to design their very own Doozer Derby racing car, fly in a jetpack (or better yet…fly with a kaleidoscope of butterflies!), or build a giant life-sized gingerbread house?! Whatever they are doing, the Pod Squad always manages to have a fantastic time!
