If the title of this post made you laugh, then you already understand why kids love the Cartoon Network series “Almost Naked Animals”.
About Almost Naked Animals
Take a hilarious trip to the Banana Cabana! Run by Howie, the funny, but “hospitality-challenged” doggy manager, the Banana Cabana is a beach-front hotel where you can find sand, sun and a whole lot of crazy fun. Howie needs all the help he can get, keeping the Cabana running so he enlists aid from his best friend Octo, an always worrying front desk clerk – Bunny, a super hyper director of fun things to do – Narwhal, the hotel lounge entertainer – Sloth, the slowest bellhop you’ve ever met – Duck, a less than sharp handy man and Piggy, a cook who is very passionate about his food creations.
My three-year-old loves this show (especially the part where all the animals run around without any fur or feathers) so when the DVD goodies box arrived he was thrilled. We had to put it in the DVD player as soon as it was opened. I wish I had recorded his laughter – it was just too much! He kept giggling and saying, “momma….they’re naked!” which he thinks is hilarious, as well as being totally carried away by Howie’s enthusiasm and antics. Along with the DVD (which will be released to the public September 25, 2012) we also were sent an Almost Naked Animals t-shirt, notebook and tote bag.

As you can see from the earlier photo, I totally kept the t-shirt for myself. What?! Little man is too small for it….I swear! (no, really). But he definitely loves the DVD (he’s watched every day since then) and now he carries his toys around in his A.N.A. tote bag. Luckily there is an entire Almost Naked Animals online store where you can get all your favorite characters on tons of different gear and t-shirts.

I think the Banana Cabana coffee mug is going on my Christmas wish list!
You can also head over to the Almost Naked Animals website and check out news about their upcoming Online Super Game.
*I was sent a gift pack of dvd, tshirt, notebook and tote bag in order to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed are my own.
