Groovy Globe is a brand new 2012 company started by Candace Vadnais, a woman who is passionate about environmental causes and saw an opportunity to build a brand that would help share eco-friendly concepts and inspire people to do more for their planet. After being an active supporter of (RED) by wearing the branded t-shirts to raise awareness, she had the urge to create an eco-conscious line that would help consumers be more aware while helping fund environmental non-profit organizations to help the environment and protect our natural resources.

Groovy Globe offers t-shirts for both men and women that are eco-friendly and made of 100% organic cotton. I received the black women’s fitted t-shirt. Now you may be thinking ‘a t-shirt is a t-shirt…right?’ I wish. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a t-shirt that fit in some odd way that made me look like I had lumps where there were no lumps…if you know what I’m saying. Even worse is when I buy a shirt then, after washing, it turns into a shirt that would only fit my toddler. In fact, when I ordered my shirt from Groovy Globe I requested the basic fit – once again scared that it would shrink. Candice said ‘no need! Get the fitted – they are great – trust me!” And she was so right. My Groovy Globe t-shirt is awesome. From day one it fit perfectly – no weird folds and no tight areas that I had to keep pulling at all day. Even after washing it still fits like the first time I put it on. The cotton is SO soft and the design is eye catching without being over the top. I wore it recently to Dollywood in TN and I lost count of how many times I heard “Oh I like your shirt!”. What a great opportunity to open dialog about being eco-friendly!
