While deep reds and rich greens are definitely the power colors during the holiday season, I love to wrap myself up in soft grays. One trend that works well with my preference is the smokey eye. It doesn’t matter if your eyes are deep set, round, almond, small, large or any combination in between – a smokey eye can draw attention to you pretty peepers and really set off your overall look.
Never much for gold, I love the way my silver jewelry sparkles next to the muted colors. While some may think grays are dull or boring, I find them comforting. Gray is said to represent compromise, “creating a sense of calm and composure, relief from a chaotic world.”

I would love to see a pitch black added to the pallet for an even darker lash line, but otherwise this set is perfect for an alluring, winter look.
