I finally stopped using toothbrush holders because they always had nasty build-up, but I didn’t really think it was all germ-infested. GROSS!

  2. Kelly @ Texas Type A Mom

I try to microwave my sponge to kill all of the germs in it but I’m sure I don’t do it nearly often enough.

  6. Cute infographic. I tend to not pay attention to much to the germs. My MIL use to be a germaphoic drove me crazy.

  7. I use lavender and lemon essential oil religiously. Crazy about the kitchen sponge but it makes sense.

Wonderful tips! I clean with a vinegar/water mix. I’ve used TTO/water in the past and like that very much, as well.

  9. I need to start looking into alternative cleaning supplies – love the idea of lavander and lemon oil

  10. I use lemons and lemon juice all the time in my dishwater to clean my dishes and counter all the time. I prefer the all natural method of cleaning to chemicals but haven’t tried vinegar though. Thanks for great tips :)

I’m pretty disgusted by that 66% of us guys washing their hands. I’d say it’s not true, but sadly, I see it all the time and try not to gag. And it’s not just guys leaving the urinals; it’s guys walking out of stalls then leaving the bathroom. Bleargh!

Vinegar is awesome for so many things. I love it to put with my ammonia and water for cleaning my windows. I’d love to try the lavender
