Little Mermaid Diamond Edition PreOrder + a Giveaway

In 1989 Disney released the film that would find a place in our hearts for the next 24 years and beyond. The Little Mermaid has become a favorite of both young and old, telling the story of a young princess who just wants to be part of another world and find the love she dreams of. Now you and your children can relive those magical moments with the Diamond Edition Little Mermaid DVD Set.

As part of my recent trip to Los Angeles for the Disney Planes Premier, I was invited into an amazing under the sea world when I attended the Little Mermaid reception at the Roosevelt Hotel, Hollywood. We were immersed in Ariel’s experience and able to check out the new products being released along with the DVD. Check out the product preview on MommysBusy.com .  We even made custom silkscreen t-shirts to show off our favorite Ariel trait. I picked “Adventurous”. It instantly brought back memories of being younger and first hearing Ariel’s voice on the big screen.

To celebrate the longstanding love of this feisty mermaid, Disney is releasing Diamond Edition DVD sets. Diamond edition sets are a limited time release and give you an opportunity to purchase your favorite Disney movies before they are put back into the Disney Vault. All films released in the Diamond Edition line have been enhanced with 1080p high-definition and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound for an even more enjoyable experience.

The Little Mermaid will be available (for a limited time) starting October 1, 2013 and sold in two versions. The 2-Disc set will feature Blu-ray / DVD + Digital Copy. The 3-Disc set (featuring the original movie poster artwork) will be an even more complete experience with  Blu-ray 3D,  Blu-ray,  DVD,  Digital Copy and Music.
