Ah the smell of wood, the roar of a chainsaw, the cheers of the crowd….and the BBQ beans? Oh yes – you can get it all at the Lumberjack Feud Show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
I have to say, it’s not often I deck myself out in flannel and scream YO HO! until my voice is hoarse – but at the Lumberjack Feud I wasn’t able to contain myself.
Lumberjack Feud is an exciting mix of dinner theater and competition you won’t see anywhere else. Sit back and chow down on a meal fit for a mountain man as you watch world class lumberjacks duke it out….not with their fists, but with their axes! (no..no…not like THAT)
Depending on where you are seated you will become an honorary member of either the Dawson Family or the McGraw Family. You see, the Dawsons and the McGraws both live, and chop, on the same mountain. But, as the lumberjack code says – there can only be one. Make sure you’ve got your work boots on as you wind up your arm and stand to shout “YO HOOOOO!” as you cheer your family’s lumberjacks on through tests of strength, balance and pure outdoor muscle.

Sounds like Medieval Times with a twist and better food :) This dinner show will go down on my ‘To Do’ list whenever I get the chance to visit Tennessee again.
