Plankton is at it again and it’s up to SpongeBob and Patrick to stop him with the Invisible Boatmobile Rescue by Mega Bloks SpongeBob SquarePants. Build the Invisible Boatmobile with cool translucent blocks and take off for a high-speed chase! Help, Plankton is launching jellyfish everywhere! It’s up to SpongeBob and Patrick – dressed as Mermaidman and Barnacleboy – to save them with the Invisible Boatmobile’s not-so-invisible net!
This 337 piece set, from Mega Bloks, brings the fun and adventure of SpongeBob right to your home as you help your favorite characters chase down the illusive jellyfish at Jellyfish Fields. You and your child will enjoy building the super cool Boatmobile with blue translucent blocks that give it an ‘invisible’ look. Believe it or not, Plankton is teaming up with SpongeBob and Patrick this time as he helps round up soft, pink jellyfish in his Buildable bobCAT vehicle and a Jellyfish catapult.
I was especially impressed with the detail of the Invisible Boatmobile. It features everything from tire rims to headlights to a steering wheel and more. Though, I have to warn you that it will take some dedication to put this set together. It took me and my 5 year old just over an hour. But don’t let that deter you – we had a great time working together. Part of the Mega Bloks fun is teaming up with your kids to build something awesome.
Children between the ages of 5 and 8 will also be fascinated with the characters. Both SpongeBob and Patrick break down into several pieces so you can have fun mixing and matching the parts. PatrickBob? SpongeStarfish? And don’t forget the cute pink jellyfish. My son thought it was so cool that they are actually soft rubber annd not hard plastic. He had fun making their legs wiggle as they ‘swim’ around.
