No Bake Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake

Moment of truth: My husband likes to cook even more than I do. I joke often about sharing his recipes with my readers and, one day, he said, “Go ahead.” And that’s  how #WhenDaddyCooks was born. I’m excited to showcase his creations from time to time (when it’s not a super top secret recipe, of course). First up is his newest ‘accident’ that we devoured only a few days ago: Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake

No Bake Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake #WhenDaddyCooks
 
Ingredients
  • 1½ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cup white sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup whipped cream
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter - melted
  • 1½ cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 - 6 tablespoons butter - softened
Instructions
  1. Mix softened butter and chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  2. Press into a 9" pie plate and place in the refrigerator to chill
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until completely blended
  4. Fold in whipped cream
  5. Pour cream cheese mixture into chilled pie crust and place back in refrigerator
  6. Let chill for 2 hours
  7. Melt peanut butter and add to regular graham cracker crumbs
  8. Blend by hand until crumbled, but NOT smooth
  9. Cover chilled pie with peanut butter / graham mixture
  10. Place back in refrigerator and chill until served
