Our 4th in Photos: Boston and Bearskin Neck, Rockport

By -

We spent our 4th of July days off this year in Boston, the Boston Common and Bearskin Neck on Cape Ann. I thought I’d share a few photos. You can find photos of the ‘tourist’ spots on many websites. So, I decided to grab a few pictures of things you notice when you’re actually there. Hope you enjoy!

People don’t realize just how hot it gets up North. While at the Cape it hit over 94 with a heat index of over 100. I’m still amazed that a place which gets so cold also gets so hot. I couldn’t even carry my camera in hand like usual – the sun made it almost too hot to touch. By the end of the day we were all baked and parched – so it was time for a treat at the Ice Cream Store. Little man waited patiently (or is that sleepily?) for his double scoop of Cookie Monster Crunch. A perfect end to a great day.
