Outback Provides A New Way to Skip The Wait

Say Goodbye To Restaurant Wait Time With Click Thru Seating

By -

Outback Steakhouse® has been a favorite among diners since the 1990s. Unfortunately, with tasty items like The Bloomin’ Onion and juicy steaks waiting to be devoured, there is often a wait to grab a table. Outback recently did a survey asking consumers about their typical wait time at restaurants across the country and found that, on average, Americans have waited nearly 40 minutes to be seated at a restaurant — that’s more time than it takes to cook and eat an entire meal.

Now Outback is giving their customers a way to take back their time and skip the wait. A new system, called Click Thru Seating, offers guests an option to take control of their restaurant experience. By visiting Outback.com you can access different tools to ensure that you aren’t in line when you should be eating.

View Wait Time – If you have several Outback choices in your area you can check the current wait time at each location before you leave. Now you can find out where the crowds are and pick the location where you’ll be seated and served more quickly.

Get On The Wait List – This is the main feature of Click Thru Seating. You can place your name on the wait list before you even leave your house. Plan hours ahead, or grab your spot on the go for a last minute dinner. Unlike a regular reservation, you aren’t penalized if you’re late and your name won’t drop from the list.

An Outback survey unveiled that on average, Americans wish there were 4 additional hours per day during the holiday season– Click Thru Seating won’t create a new 4 hours for you, but it will mean less time waiting and more time to take care of your holiday to-do list.

With the busiest time of year just around the corner, Click Thru Seating is the perfect way to manage your time and make sure you don’t spend it standing in line. Visit Outback.com for more information.
