You Don’t Become a Hero By Being Normal.
Norman isn’t like other kids his age. He’s a small town boy who enjoys zombies, horror movies and being left alone. Oh…there’s also one other thing: he can see ghosts. Talking to the dead is a common thing for Norman, but – when a which is scheduled to rise from the dead and bring about a zombie attack – Norman has to put his unusual gift to work and save his town.
The new 3D stop-motion comedy thriller from animation company LAIKA, makers of the groundbreaking Academy Award-nominated Coraline, stars the voice talents of Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road, Let Me In) as Norman, Casey Affleck (Gone Baby Gone, Good Will Hunting) as Mitch and Anna Kindrick (Up In The Air, Twilight) as Courtney — along with John Goodman, Leslie Mann, Jeff Garlin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Elaine Strich, Tempestt Bledsoe, Bernard Hill, Alex Borstein and Tucker Albrizzi.
LA Times said it’s “the most fun you’ll have with ghosts and zombies all year” and the New York Times called it an “amusing if not especially fresh tale” — ParaNorman will take you on a fun and goose bump inducing journey of a boy who never wanted to fit in, yet becomes the one kid who can save the day.
