  1. I like that there is not one, but TWO, from Wisconsin Dells on the list – Home state pride (and only a short distance from me!)!

  2. Kelly @ Texas Type A Mom

I’ve been to Schlitterbahn before but unfortunately only the kiddie part. But there is so much to do and you have to love the swim up bar!

  3. ahhaha these look amazing, but the Kalahari Indoor Water Park and Massanutten Water Park particularly catches my attention cause’ they’re indoors! :) less uv rays! too bad i’m in good ol’ california!

  4. Dee @ Cocktails with Mom

I’ve visited 3 of the parks on your list….Schlitterbahn, Typhoon Lagoon and Wet n WIld. Wet n Wild just added a kiddie area called Blast Away and it awesome. The kids love it!

  5. Susan McNeill

I went to the Schlitterbahn a few years ago — what a blast. Thanks for a great list :)

I would love to visit any one of these water parks with my grandchildren but they are so far away from me :( The closet one to me is Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin and that’s four states away! Guess I will have to make do with the long drive to the water park in Boise for now :)

  7. We live fairly close (about and hour) to the Sandusky Kalahari and go there every year around Christmas. The kids love it and it’s something fun to do, not too expensive, while they are on break.

  8. We just stayed at Glacier Canyon Lodge (part of Wilderness Resorts) and it was amazing! Definitely will be going there again! We love water parks.. nice post!

  9. These water parks look amazing and so much fun! The slide in Water Country USA – Williamsburg, VA looks like a blast!

  10. I live close to a Kalahari in Ohio – I definitely need to get out there sometime next summer. Wish there were even more close to where I live!
