Survival Kit for Parents with Sore Throats and Laryngitis – Guest Post

It is difficult to believe, but I actually survived a week of school vacation this winter while suffering from a very bad cold. In fact I had laryngitis for nearly three whole days. With 5 year old boy/girl twins and an 8 year old son, I am amazed that I (and they) made it through.
In hindsight, I should have done things differently. Instead of straining my voice to talk, I should have just made signs for the things I find myself repeating again and again. Next time I will be prepared.
So that other parents who find themselves in a similar situation will not make the same mistake as I did, I took the liberty of creating these free printable signs for any parent out there to use when they find themselves with a sore throat or loss of his or her voice . . .
